In the second record on this page, dated September 8, 1863, previously I could not read the words before left thigh. Thanks to Laura and cousin Lisa, they researched this and gave me the spelling and meaning, which is gunshot.
I have had these muster rolls for many years. But I recently found them in digital format on Fold3.com, a military records website, which is subscription based. In the Compiled Service Records, the muster rolls are not in chronological order. I have placed them in order.
