I recently created a blog to share the family history discoveries I find with all of YOU! That is the purpose –  to share information and store it in a online location where you all can find it.  It is   https://rememberourancestors.com .

You can subscibe to the blog on the home page. If you enter your email address, when I post something, you will be notified by email.  The email contains a link that will take you to the new post. Nothing else is done with your email address.   

A couple of things to know..  I will include posts of family history for my Mother’s and Father’s families. So some of the posts will not pertain to your ancestry. 

To find the posts that pertain to you, look for the Categories Menu. In the menu, there are 2 choices – Huff and Glass Lines – which are my Mother’s ancestors. Parker and Johnson Lines – which are my Father’s ancestors. 

To read the articles about your family, go to Categories and click on the line that your family ties into.  All the posts for that side of the family will pop up.   

Under the Blog Menu there are pedigree charts which show each surname’s family tree.  Just click on the one that pertains to the surname with which you are connected.  I will often tell you how we are related to the person mentioned in the article by referencing his/her connection to our direct ancestor shown on the pedigree chart.

For example, I will say this article is about Nathan Wheeler, who is a brother of Lucy Wheeler, who is a direct ancestor. Lucy is on the pedigree chart.
